By using ElderCare Check-In ("the App"), you agree to these terms. They apply to everyone using the App — whether checking in yourself, managing check-ins for a family member, or receiving alerts.

What the App does
A daily check-in tool. A person taps a button once a day to confirm they're doing fine. If a check-in is missed for longer than a configured time period, the App attempts to notify designated family members via SMS, WhatsApp, and/or push notification.
This is not an emergency or medical service
ElderCare Check-In is a best-effort convenience tool, not a certified emergency response service, medical alert system, or substitute for professional caregiving or emergency services.
We do not guarantee that any alert will be delivered successfully, on time, or at all — delivery depends on third-party mobile networks and services outside our control. If you believe someone is in immediate danger, always contact local emergency services directly. Missed check-ins can happen for many harmless reasons and are not a reliable indicator of an actual emergency on their own.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, [Your Company Name] shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or loss of life, injury, or harm, arising from a missed, delayed, or failed alert, reliance on the App as a substitute for direct contact or medical care, or any inaccuracy in displayed status. Free service and future changes
The App is currently free. If we introduce paid tiers in the future, features that are free today will remain available to existing users under terms communicated clearly in advance.
Termination
