Privacy Policy — Pari Touch & Pari Pulse
Last updated: October 18, 2026
This policy explains what information PARINEST TECHNOLOGIES LLP ("PariNest", "we", "us") collects through Pari Touch and Pari Pulse, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
- Pari Touch is the Android app used by the person who checks in each day.
- Pari Pulse is the family dashboard website at pulse.parinest.com, used by the family manager who sets up the service, chooses a plan and sees check-in status.
Together we call them "the Service". This policy covers the Pari Touch app, the Pari Pulse website and their subscription and payment functions.
Operated by: PARINEST TECHNOLOGIES LLP

Information we collect
The person checking in (Pari Touch)
- Phone number, used to sign in (verified by a one-time code).
- Check-ins: the time of each check-in and of the latest one.
- Settings: the alert threshold (how long without a check-in before family is alerted), the daily reminder time and time zone, and preferred language.
- Name as entered by the family manager when setting up the account.
- Screen-unlock activity — optional and off by default. If you turn it on in Settings, the app records the time the phone was last unlocked (only while the app is running) and shares it with your family manager as an extra sign of activity. You can turn it off at any time.
Pari Touch does not collect your location, contacts, call logs or message content.
Family managers (Pari Pulse)
- First and last name, and phone number (used to sign in).
- Email address and password, only if you set up a backup login.
- The people you look after and the alert settings you configure for them.
- Your plan, subscription status and billing identifiers (see "Payments" below).
- A record of your acceptance of these policies (the version and the time) when you choose a plan.
Only your first name is shown to others: on the alert list, including in the Pari Touch app of the person you look after.
Family members who receive alerts
- Name and phone number, entered by the family manager.
- Optional alert settings for that person (an earliest time of day for non-urgent alerts, and their time zone).
- Their answer to our invitation: whether they agreed or declined, when, how (by the link we texted them, or by a link the family manager shared plus a one-time code to confirm their number), which version of the invitation text they saw, and their browser type. We do not record their IP address or location for this.
- Whether they have opted out of Pari Touch messages, when, and how.
- When each alert was last sent to them, so the same alert is not repeated.
How family members agree to alerts
A family member added to an alert list receives no alerts until they agree themselves. We send them an invitation, by SMS to Indian numbers, or the family manager shares an invitation link with them personally (for numbers outside India). The invitation explains what they will receive and how to stop. If the link was shared by the family manager, they confirm their own number with a one-time code before answering. If they decline, or never answer, they receive no alerts. If their number is changed or removed from the list, their agreement ends, and adding them again means a new invitation.
Stopping alerts: any recipient can stop all Pari Touch messages to their number at any time at pulse.parinest.com/stop (confirmed with a one-time code), by emailing contact@parinest.com, or by asking the family manager to remove them. An opt-out applies to every family that has added that number, and can be reversed only by the number's owner. Replying STOP by text is not available yet.
Website and technical information
When you use pulse.parinest.com or parinest.com, our hosting provider (Google Firebase Hosting) processes standard request information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages. Signing in by phone on the website, and confirming a number on the invitation and opt-out pages, uses Google reCAPTCHA to prevent abuse. A one-time-code check on those two pages creates a temporary sign-in record, which we delete straight afterwards unless the number already belongs to a Pari Touch or Pari Pulse account. The dashboard stores your sign-in session in your browser's local storage. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. Payment pages provided by Razorpay or Paddle may set their own cookies under their policies.
How we use information
- To sign you in and keep your account secure.
- To record check-ins and show check-in status to the family manager and people they authorise.
- To work out when a check-in is overdue and send alerts to the configured family members.
- To send the person checking in a reminder of their daily check-in.
- To manage plans, subscriptions and billing.
- To provide support, prevent misuse and keep the Service working.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising.
Who can see check-in status
Check-in status and history are visible to the person checking in and to the family manager linked to their account. Family members on the alert list do not see the dashboard; they receive alert messages only.
By installing Pari Touch and entering the invite code from their family manager, the person checking in links their account to that family manager, who can then see their check-ins and, if turned on, their screen-unlock time. Family managers should set up Pari Touch only with the knowledge and agreement of the person who will use it.
Who we share information with
- Google Firebase (Google LLC): sign-in, database, server functions and website hosting. Our database is located in Mumbai, India. Sign-in records are kept by Firebase Authentication on Google's global infrastructure, and our server functions currently run in the United States, so information is processed there when alerts are checked and sent. Database backups are kept in the same Mumbai location.
- MSG91 (India): delivers SMS. For alerts it receives the recipient's phone number and the message text (which includes the number of hours since the last check-in). For invitations it receives the recipient's phone number, the first names of the family manager and of the person checking in, and the invitation link.
- WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta Platforms): delivers WhatsApp alerts to family members who have agreed, and daily check-in reminders to the person checking in. It receives the recipient's phone number and the message text (which includes the number of hours since the last check-in). Meta may process this information outside India under its own terms.
- Razorpay (India): processes payments from India. Receives your name and phone number, and processes your UPI or card details directly. We receive subscription and payment identifiers and statuses.
- Paddle (Paddle.com): for payments from outside India, Paddle is our reseller and the Merchant of Record. It collects your email address, payment details and billing address (such as country and postal code, needed for tax) directly and processes them under its own Privacy Policy. We send Paddle only internal account and plan references, and receive customer, subscription and payment identifiers and statuses.
None of these providers receive check-in history or the list of people you look after, except the specific phone number and message needed to deliver an alert.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect someone's safety.
How long we keep information
- Account, settings and check-in history: while the account is active, and until it is deleted (see below).
- Family members' details: while they are on an alert list. Removing someone from the list deletes their name and number from it.
- Consent and opt-out records (agreement, decline, opt-out and their history): kept after someone is removed from a list, after an opt-out, and after an account is deleted, so we can show what was agreed and keep honouring opt-outs. We have not yet set a fixed period for these records. Unused invitation links stop working after 7 days.
- Alert send records: we keep a count of messages sent per account (channel, type and time, without phone numbers or names) for cost and support purposes.
- Subscription and payment identifiers: kept after a plan ends or an account is deleted, for accounting, tax and dispute purposes. Razorpay and Paddle keep their own records under their policies.
- Backups: daily database backups are kept for 14 days, and point-in-time recovery data for 7 days. Deleted information disappears from these once they expire.
- Server logs: kept for a limited period by Google Cloud for troubleshooting; we mask phone numbers in our own log entries.
See how to delete your account and data for exactly what is deleted and what is kept.
Your choices and rights
You can see and change most of your information in the apps. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending alerts to a phone number, by emailing contact@parinest.com. We may need to verify your identity first. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under applicable data-protection law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as its provisions come into force.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, including verified sign-in, encrypted connections, and database rules that limit check-in information to the person checking in and their linked family manager. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Please keep your phone and sign-in details secure.
Age
Pari Pulse accounts are for adults who manage check-ins for someone else. We do not knowingly let children create accounts. If you set up Pari Touch for someone under 18, or for an adult who cannot decide for themselves, you should have the authority to act for them.
Changes to this policy
