Privacy Policy

PariNest ("we," "our," the "App") is a daily safety check-in service that helps families stay connected. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how we protect it. PariNest includes two apps — Pari Touch (for the person checking in) and Pari Pulse (for family members) — both covered by this policy.

Who uses this app, and what we collect
The person checking in (typically a loved one): phone number (for sign-in), check-in timestamps, your alert threshold setting, and — only if you turn it on — optional screen-unlock activity as a bonus signal. We never collect your location, call logs, or message content.
Family members receiving alerts: name, phone number, and relationship, added by whoever manages the account. This information can be added by the person managing the account without the family member's direct action in the app.
Family managers (using Pari Pulse or the web dashboard): your own phone number, and a device push-notification token if you enable notifications.
How we use this information
Solely to let you sign in, detect missed check-ins, send alerts to configured family members, and display status to authorized managers. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who we share information with
- Google Firebase — authentication, database, and hosting (data stored in Mumbai, India)
- MSG91 — SMS delivery, receives only the phone number and message needed for each alert
- Razorpay — payment processing for subscriptions, receives billing/contact details needed to process your payment; Razorpay does not receive your check-in or family relationship data
- WhatsApp (Meta) — check-in alerts may also be delivered via WhatsApp in future updates; this is not yet active for user accounts

Your rights
You may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other applicable regional laws. Contact us at privacy@parinest.com to exercise these rights.
Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including strict access controls limiting check-in data to you and anyone you specifically authorize. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
Children's information
This app is intended for use by adults managing check-ins for someone else, typically a loved one. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 18 as app users. If a minor is added as a family member to be alerted, their limited contact information is handled the same as any other family member's.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email before taking effect.
